First Look: Chris Bryant, Kingsmen Quartet

by | Aug 13, 2018 | News

Bob Sellers held the lead position with the mighty Kingsmen since 2011, so when it was announced that he would be stepping down, many folks were wondering who the new man would be to take his place on the stage. We don’t have to wonder any more! It’s Chris Bryant, who leaves the Bibletones to accept this position.

Here are two videos so you can hear Chris with current members Chris Jenkins and Ray Dean Reese and fill-in baritone Alan Kendall:

Hear the Word of the Lord
I Will Rise Up From My Grave

Here is a link to the full announcement from the Kingsmen.

Wow! Their sound is just amazing, as always. Though we will miss Bob Sellers very much, we wish him the best in his new endeavors, and the Kingsmen made an excellent choice to replace him in the group. We were so pleasantly surprised to see Chris Jenkins back with Kingsmen!! Is he back with them full-time, permanently? Also, we missed seeing Randy Crawford in these videos. He hasn’t left the Kingsmen, has he? Thank you so much for posting this, Diana!

Chris Jenkins has been back for most, if not all, of 2018. And he is doing the emcee duties very, very well. Randy had to come off the road because of health issues. Thanks for being a MusicScribe reader, Cheryl!!!!

I am obsessed with the video of Chris Bryant singing “What the Winds and Waves still know”. Is there an exact video of the Nov 26 ,2021 taping. I want a copy for my DVR & can’t find a place to buy it. In my opinion, this is the the most wonderful song to come along for a good while. So blessed by this!
