Gospel Music Happenings

  • A new website indicates the trio of red-haired siblings known collectively as Red Roots will now be billed as Taylor Red. Their Facebook page has also been updated to reflect the new brand.
  • On Monday, Singing News published the finalists for their 2018 Fan Awards. Subscribers to the magazine will vote in the coming months, and the winners will be announced during an afternoon showcase at the National Quartet Convention this fall in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Remembering

  • Ryan Stutzman of the Stutzman Family passed away on Saturday, May 12. Please keep his family in your prayers.

    According to Taylor Red’s small about sentence, they are a country/pop girl band. Looks like Gospel music is no longer a part of their repertoire.

      That is also the impression I am getting from their Facebook page. I guess we’ll know as soon as they release some new music.

      What’s more curious is it appears all of their Red Roots music videos have been pulled from YouTube.
