Remembering

Trivia Nugget

  • In 2004, Triumphant Quartet changed their name from Integrity Quartet to Triumphant Quartet. The new name temporarily hit a snag after they learned of a group featuring former Kingsmen tenor Johnny Parrack that also going by Triumphant. They quickly worked out a deal where they would use the name Triumphant Quartet and Parrack’s group would be known as Johnny Parrack & Triumphant.

I never knew that Triumphant had the issue with that name. I had never heard of Johnny Parrack & Triumphant. I HAVE heard of Triumphant Quartet — big time. Glad they worked it out!
