Concert Review: Joseph Habedank (Fort Oglethorpe, GA)

by | Sep 2, 2017 | Concert Review

Joseph Habedank appeared fairly recently at the Parkway Baptist Church in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. This church regularly hosts Southern Gospel concerts and I always enjoy attending their events. This concert was held not long after Joseph released his newest album, Resurrection, so I had not seen any of those songs performed.

The church’s adult choir opened up the concert with two songs and then sang as Joseph performed If You Knew Him and Never, No Never, with member KC Brandon singing one of the verses. Joseph then performed several songs from each of the CD projects he has released as a soloist and another song that the Perrys had recorded, He Is Good To Me. I enjoy seeing how Joseph connects with his audience while he gives his testimony and then when he shares his songs because they are also his testimony since he wrote them!

Here are the videos I chose to share from this concert. Several of these are new songs from the Resurrection CD and are listed with an asterisk.

  • *Here He Comes – I love this song that tells the story all the way from Jesus’ initial appearance on earth, appearance at the temple, his ministry, his resurrection and then his coming again.
  • *I Love You (From An Old Rugged Cross) – This beautiful love song is written from Jesus’ perspective.
  • Big Enough – This is a great song that is about a few of the problems that come up in life that God is big enough to handle.
  • *Just When You Thought – This is a slow, contemplative song about God’s power to redeem even though we might think we are beyond it.
  • Never, No Never – I had previously posted a video of this song, but want to post this new one since it also has the church’s choir, orchestra, and soloist KC Brandon.
