Recent Happenings

  • Common Bond Quartet announced the addition of tenor singer Chad Riley. The former Stamps, Mystery Men, and Steve Hess & Southern Salvation singer replaces Kevin Willis.
  • The National Quartet Convention announced today that fans can pre-order access to a live webcast of the 2017 event for $64.99. After a two-week delay, the footage will again be made available to view on-demand.
  • A recent performance of “Four Days Late” by Karen Peck & New River at Lazarus’ tomb in the Holy Land was added to their Facebook page on July 27. It has been viewed more than two million times in the eight day period.

Remembering

  • Timothy Armour (pianist for Debra Perry and Jaidyn’s Call, and former CS&K vocalist) passed away on July 31. A memorial service was held yesterday, August 3, in Gainesville, Georgia.

  • As a young boy, Hovie played piano for the Lister Brothers, a group that included his father, Herman Lister, and three of his uncles.
