Loren Harris Joins The Kingdom Heirs

The Kingdom Heirs announced this morning that Loren Harris has joined the group to sing baritone, replacing Brian Alvey.

In 2015, when the Kingdom Heirs were auditioning baritones (eventually settling on Alvey), Harris was a finalist in the audition process. Here are some videos from 2015 featuring Harris when he first tried out for the position.

So they go from saying they are not doing auditions to, boom, announcing they are hiring Loren. I’m guessing they had him in mind after Brian resigned. Good hire, IMO.

No auditions were required this time, because they had three top picks they made public and brought in for a test in front of an audience the last time they did auditions. If Loren had turned them down, there was another guy who might have still been interested in the job.
