David Phelps Owns Uptight Shamers

David Phelps Owns Uptight Shamers

David Phelps posted this image on his Facebook page a couple of days ago. Does this offend you?

It offended some folks, so David displayed his gracious sense of humor by correcting his “error” by posting an appropriately modified image today.

Hey Friends. It was just brought to my attention that the picture of me and my love has offended some because of my grandfather’s old Camel sign in the background. I promise it wasn’t intentional so maybe this edit will be something we can all agree on. Blessings and tacos to all! – DAVID PHELPS

I mean, I understand maybe the sign shouldn’t be in the picture just because you run the risk of people jumping to conclusions. But seriously, some folks need to jump off their moral high horse and stop eating cake.
(Totally comparative because, seriously, who in their right mind would give up cake?)

I better not find any of those people in Cracker Barrel. They have vintage cigar/cigarette signs all over their dining rooms!

This doesn’t offend me near as much as Southern Gospel artist getting tattoos and then slowly letting the “sneak” out on social media. :)

I would have tried putting a picture of Jesus and a camel beside a needle.
