Last Week’s Happenings

  • Jason Crabb, Point Of Grace, Karen Peck & New River and Joey+Rory received nominations for the 2016 Grammy awards last week. Jason Crabb’s Whatever The Road was nominated in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Album category. Point Of Grace’s Directions Home and Karen Peck & New River Pray Now were both recognized in the Best Roots Gospel Album category. Joey+Rory’s “If I Needed You” got the nod in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category.
  • The Kingsmen announced they are accepting applications for a new tenor by email at kingsmentenor@gmail.com. Include a resume and a good quality demo (or link to a performance on YouTube if no demo is available).

Remembering

  • LaBreeska Hemphill passed away on Wednesday, December 9. Services were held in her memory in Nashville, Tennessee on December 12 and in West Monroe, Louisiana on December 14.
