  • Legacy Five has named former Mercy’s Mark and N’Harmony lead singer Josh Feemster as their new tenor singer, replacing the departing Gus Gaches.
  • Daywind Records announced that they have added the Hoppers to their artist roster.
  • The Texas Gospel Music Hall of Fame announced they will be inducting Jim Brady on November 7.
  • The Dixie Echoes announced they have hired Stephen Adair to sing tenor, replacing George Shelton, Jr.

Remembering

  • Former Chuck Wagon Gang soprano/alto Ruth Ellen Carter Yates passed away on Monday, October 5 at the age of 91. A memorial service for Mrs. Yates was held on Saturday, October 10 in Fort Worth, Texas.

        Haven’t seen a date, but i believe they said it would be a 16 song 2 disc project? Interesting. It’s their first “full production” album in 5 years. Of what I’ve heard, some of it sounds orchestrated and some of it sounds kinda like the Come On Home project, no doubt with Autumn’s Isaacs-influenced style coming in more.
