The Oak Ridge Boys + Home Free = A Cappella Awesomeness

The Oak Ridge Boys + Home Free = A Cappella Awesomeness

The Oak Ridge Boys recently joined a cappella vocal group, Home Free, for a unique take on their monster hit, “Elvira.” Home Free, winners of the 2013 season of Sing-Off, have been getting lots of attention for their unique vocal arrangements, entertaining covers of mainstream hits, and the amazingly low notes from bass vocalist Tim Foust (as evidenced in the video below).

Check out the (really cool) arrangement below….

This is so great! Coming at this as more of a Home Free fan than an Oak Ridge Boys fan, it’s great to see these guys get to this level. I could listen to this track all day!

I just read a comment from Duane Allen saying the Oaks and Home Free are working to set up some concert events together. Now that would be a show!

That is really great! They did a great job of making it their own, but not destroying the song.
