According to Capitol Christian’s website, that new GVB Christmas Collection is probably the oddest mix of songs I’ve seen. And why go through the trouble of recutting some songs, and leaving others intact?

Also, am I the only one who noticed that Michael English is included on the album, but absent from the cover?

      You’re not the only one.

I guess they didn’t want to do a whole new CD with the current line-up, so they went with this.

I can’t seem to find the info on the GVB Christmas Collection on this website. Can someone post a link where I can read about this album?

I like the addition of the album covers to this feature.

Do you think that MTQ will still release Rewind on September 4 or will they re-record with a new tenor?

Has EHSS recut the Broadway project to include Dustin Doyle since is included on the cover? Also, there is a sixth person on the cover that I don’t recognize?

    • Reply July 27, 18:59 David Bruce Murray Author

The sixth person on the cover is Tyler Vestal who appears to have made the switch from Beyond The Ashes to EH&SS along with his buddy Dustin Doyle.

I saw a video a few days ago with EH&SS performing with two keyboard players including Vestal. This is purely a guess, but I’d say he’s being prepped to replace Wayne Haun…who isn’t on the cover.

I can’t say whether or not the vocals have been re-cut for the CD. The DVD, I’d imagine, would remain unchanged.

I thought that might be him but wasn’t sure. Interesting. Thanks so for the reply!

Michael English’s Worship CD is now on pre-order at his website,

Curious observation — Since both Dustin Doyle & Tyler Vestal are featured on the cover of EH&SS’s new project, what becomes of Beyond the Ashes?

I have noticed that former member, Casey Rivers (also of the non-touring Canton Junction), is singing with Anthony Facello. However, there hasn’t been much info about the group moving forward. They had great potential — especially with their last album, _Living in the Moment_.
