VBS “Stand Up” and “Sit Down” chords

Someone on Facebook wanted to know the traditional “Stand Up” and “Sit Down” chords used in Vacation Bible Schools across the width and height of our great nation and around the world for lo, so many years.

I could not find them on the internet anywhere. Can you believe that? I wrote them out from memory, and they’re on the internet now!

Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. …do your thing!

The group Paid in Full actually has this at the beginning and end of their first national CD, In All I Do.

I heard them in my mind as soon as I saw the title of your post.Took me back to a simpler time of filmstrip projectors, sugar cookies, Kool-Aid, and flimsy crafts that our parents treated as if they were priceless heirlooms. I miss those days.

Hahahaha! I picked them out by ear, then went to the internet to see if I was close. Bingo! I was exactly right! Some things you never forget.
