Here are my picks for the Top Ten/Best CD/DVDs of 2008.

9. Gaither Gospel Series – Country Bluegrass Homecoming, Vols. 1&2
10. Various – NQC Live Volume Eight

Here are my Top Five personal favorites selected from all the CDs I “met” during 2008. (I believe two of these were actually 2007 releases.)
1. Shiloh Mountain Trio – This Must Be Glory – Look for this group to take the bluegrass gospel world by storm in the next couple of years.
2. Talley Trio – Life Goes On
3. Jeff Stice – In The Shadow Of Virtuosity
4. Ball Brothers – Vocalized
5. Dixie Echoes – So Many Reasons

    Wow, no Dove Brothers or Gold City? Gold City had one of the best CDs this year I thought.

    Kingsmen seem to top a lot of people’s list…well deserved props for them.

    Dove Brothers and Gold City both had solid CDs this past year. I rated both of them at 4 Stars…just under the radar for this list.

    Another favorite was Triumphant’s _Intermission_.
